Action! AEC RT HLX 421, right, owned by the RT 604 Group was, when withdrawn in 1978, the last example in normal service from the 484 of the type taken over by London Country on 1 January 1970. It was one of only five repainted in National Bus Company leaf green. The bus is seen with Peter Cartwright’s AEC Routemaster RML 2440 (JJD 440D) which worked from London Country’s High Wycombe garage as part of a varied career. RF TRANSPORT PHOTOGRAPHY
