An urgent appeal has gone out to save a unique 1960 Alexander-bodied Albion Nimbus from being scrapped. The 29-seat coach is owned by East Sussex-based car and commercial vehicle repair garage owner Jay Sherman.

“I’ve had the Albion for some time and never done anything with it, and people who said they would take it on haven’t done so,” said Jay. “The fact is that the Albion is taking up space we now desperately need so unless it finds a buyer it has to go for scrap very soon.”
