Arriva North West paid a full-sized bus tribute to its ancestor Ribble Motor Services at the Great Harwood Transport Festival in Lancashire.

CX06 BJY, a 2006 Wright-bodied VDL Commander, was painted in Ribble’s late 1960s livery to mark that operator’s 100th anniversary in 2019, and was among many buses attending the event run by the Town & District Transport Trust Ltd on 4 and 5 September. Formed in 2018, the Trust is a registered charity with between 45 and 50 buses in its care, and has premises in Great Harwood, near Blackburn, Lancashire.
