Uno, the bus company owned by the University of Hertfordshire, has launched a new mobile ‘rewards’ scheme on its mobile ticketing platform in coordination with tech company Rise Digital Media. The scheme gives passengers rewards points for every pound spent on mobile tickets, which are then converted into money off vouchers for future tickets.

Cameron, Commercial Manager for Uno, said: “Our mobile app platform is as popular as ever, with people not only enjoying the benefit of discounted tickets compared with buying on the bus but also the convenience of buying before they travel. The new rewards scheme gives this an extra boost, both rewarding existing customers as well as being another reason to switch to bus from other, less sustainable modes.”

Uno rewards points are available when buying any mobile ticket, and add another feature to Uno’s app platform alongside live bus tracking, journey capacity information and ticket ‘gifting.’

From its head office in Hatfield, the company runs buses throughout Hertfordshire, Northampton and Bedfordshire along with Transport for London routes 383 and 692/699. UNO
