One of Hampshire’s top attractions for groups of visitors is the star of a brand new film produced by UK travel trade specialists Steve Reed Tourism.
Gilbert White’s House & Gardens in Selborne, Hampshire has always been popular with tour planners including coach and tour operators and group travel organisers, and is now the main feature of a high quality short film, produced in conjunction with Steve Reed Tourism and North Wales-based Eastwood Media. The film includes helpful advice for groups from the team at the venue. Also included is local coach and tour operator Candy Tours.
Gilbert White’s House & Gardens offers groups an all year round opportunity, and recent developments at the attraction in Selborne village include a brand new visitor centre and shop, a café, a brewhouse and superb new exhibits across the historic house. Apart from the house itself the gardens are said to be an inspiration to many visitors.
The film is one of eight such presentations put together by Steve Reed Tourism to help encourage group bookings for attractions, hotels, venues and destinations around the country. These include Hull in East Yorkshire; Port Sunlight Village in Merseyside; Porthcawl and Bridgend County; southern Wales; Plymouth; north-west England and the English Riviera. Each film is distributed to tour planners around the UK and also featured on the new Steve Reed Tourism YouTube channel.
Kimberley James, Collections and Marketing Manager for Gilbert White’s House & Gardens commented: “We’re delighted to show what we can offer tour planners here at our attraction in Hampshire. The film is the perfect way to illustrate the many aspects of Gilbert White’s House & Gardens and how well they can appeal to organisers of tours. We’ve already had our first tour this year and we’re hoping, with the help of the film and its distribution to tour planners that we will generate lots more.”
