Iveco Bus is set to unveil its new-generation Urbanway Hybrid at the European Mobility Expo, which will be held at Paris Porte de Versailles from 7 to 9 June. The standard 12-metre natural gas/biomethane version will be displayed on the company’s stand as the manufacturer promotes the development of its Euro VI-e urban offering.

The new-generation Urbanway Hybrid is powered by natural gas and compatible with biomethane. Iveco says its new range delivers the low total cost of ownership and excellent energy performance that are the hallmark of the brand and extends the brand’s portfolio of urban solutions in support of the energy transition.

The new hybrid technology, developed by Iveco in collaboration with Voith, will be available on the 10.5m, 12m and 18-metre Urbanway natural gas and biomethane models, as well as on the standard and articulated diesel versions, which are approved for use with XTL renewable fuels such as HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).

In addition to the Urbanway, the company will also show its latest GX 137 ELEC electric minibus.
