Herefordshire bus operator Sargeants Brothers says it has decided to implement a fare price freeze for the next 12 months across all of its services. Sargeants Brothers Managing Director Matt Evans said: “Like many businesses we are feeling the pressure particularly with fuel costs, but we believe that we need to try do something to help our valued customers within the community we serve with the ‘cost-of-living challenges’ that we are all currently facing. We would like to thank our customers for their continuing support.”

Sargeants Brothers has been operating buses in Herefordshire for 66 years with hourly services between Kington, Hereford, and Llandrindod Wells together with city services in Hereford. It also provides essential school transport for the local communities.

A recently modernised fleet of 26 buses is operated from the depot in Kington. RICHARD SHARMAN
