With the Showbus FlyBy on the A40 from Brunel to Wheatley scheduled to fall on what is now the eve of Her Majesty’s state funeral, in deference to the state of national mourning organiser Martin Isles has been in touch to advise that the Showbus team has decided to postpone the event till the summer of 2023, at a date still to be agreed with Brunel University and Buckinghamshire Council.
The traditional Showbus event the following weekend will still go ahead as planned at the Hertfordshire County Showground on 25 September. The emphasis on the special 1952-2022 Platinum Jubilee display will now be to celebrate Her Majesty’s reign.
