Back in August we exclusively revealled that newly re-branded EVM UK was to bring Anadolu Isuzu products to the UK. Since then, Richard Sharman has had the opportunity to test drive and review both the Grand Toro and the Visigo
EVM UK raised a few eyebrows in the industry when it announced that it was to supply Anadolu Isuzu products, but this was all part of the newly re-branded vehicle supplier’s plan to further increase its offerings for customers who required something a little larger than the van derived minibuses which the EVM brand is closely associated with.
It is worth mentioning at this point that EVM UK doesn’t just work with any body manufacturer. It has strict criteria that have to be met, and this often involves the senior management team making multiple visits to a manufacturer’s facility to ensure that they are going to offer customers the best in terms of design and quality. Danny McGee, Managing Director of EVM UK and EVM said: “Discussions with Anadolu Isuzu started last year, and since then the team and I have been out to Turkey four times, and they have visited us here three times. Anadolu Isuzu strongly believes in having a large team for every aspect of the business. It is a very impressive organisation, and like ourselves, they believe that attention to detail is everything.”
