CEO of Metroline Sean O’Shea and Alan Farrelly, COO and co-founder of Irish ‘big data’ company CitySwift, recently announced a new multi-year partnership at a UK and Ireland business leaders’ networking dinner at Mansion House in London. At the event led by Tánaiste Leo Varadkar, Enterprise Ireland hosted 65 high-growth Irish companies and their UK partners to celebrate the continued strong growth of Irish business in the UK.
During the dinner, Alan announced Metroline’s plans to leverage CitySwift’s mobility intelligence to support its business growth within the UK. As part of the partnership, Metroline will utilise CitySwift’s AI-powered solutions to execute its growth plans in order to win new business, improve passenger experience, and deliver more sustainable transportation networks.
Speaking about the partnership, Metroline CEO Sean said: “We are delighted to be working with CitySwift to further realise Metroline’s strategic goals beyond London. CitySwift’s innovative use of big data and algorithms to provide real-time analysis of bus services has been transformative for us, replacing time consuming manual processes enabling us to create smarter and more efficient bids for work outside of London. We look forward to working closely with CitySwift on future bids.”
CitySwift COO Alan added: “CitySwift is delighted to help Metroline leverage the power of mobility intelligence to deliver dynamic networks matched to the needs of its passengers. The platform will enable Metroline to intelligently plan and adapt its operations to provide more efficient, reliable and sustainable services, which will ultimately grow its networks across the UK.”
