In immaculate condition, this new to Tillingbourne 2000 Optare Excel is still in service with Safeguard Coaches of Guildford, along with sister vehicle X308 CBT. Both buses were new to Tillingbourne, and there are no plans to withdraw them. NICK LARKIN
