Abellio is continuing its electric bus expansion and roll-out in London as it celebrates the official launch of a new fleet of single-deck Caetano e.City Gold buses on Transport for London (TfL) route 433. Operated from Abellio’s Beddington depot near Croydon, the route runs between Addington Village interchange and East Croydon. New digital signage on board shares a range of real-time information, including the time to the next stop, disruptions, space on the next bus, and service updates for Tube, Overground, and DLR services.
Head of Commercial Alastair Willis said: ‘’Abellio is at the forefront of providing customers with cleaner, zero-emission journeys. We are absolutely delighted to bring another fully EV route to London as the 433 rolls out with these innovative new Caetano buses.”
