2.Solo First Bus
First Bus was once a major operator of the Optare Solo, but recent years have seen its demise. 53701 started out its life with First London on Transport for London’s W12 service back in 2005. It has since outlasted many other examples to become one of the final two still in passenger service with the group. RICHARD SHARMAN
