Volvo has expanded its Australasian range with the release of its latest coach model, the B13R, adding to the B11R already available in the regional market. The B13R was launched worldwide in early 2023. Volvo Bus Australia General Manager Mitch Peden told Australasian Bus & Coach: “The new B13R will be a premium coach experience and an improved productivity platform for our customers. It was developed with operators and drivers in mind and is designed to meet the demanding operating conditions of Australia, with a firm focus on safety, comfort and productivity.”
Volvo Bus Australia Head of Product & Engineering for the Asia Pacific region Mark Fryer said that a number of customers have already purchased the B13R, and that Volvo is looking to begin deliveries in the coming months.
