It has been nearly 15 years since Xelabus was set up and during that time it has taken over the businesses of Black Velvet Travel, Brijan Tours, Yellow Coaches and Seaview Services and developed what the company says is a ‘secure, customer focus-led operation.’ As the company rolls towards its 15th anniversary, it has now moved to its new business location in Eastleigh.
The firm’s new 12,500 sq ft premises provide modern working for its 60 members of staff. With its four vehicle inspection bays for the newly formed Xela Commercial Services business, its owners say the company has a firm platform to continue providing excellence for its strong client base.
The business started mainly providing transport for schools and colleges and over the years operated a number of local bus services but now increasingly turning its attention to school, college, contract and private hire. It has also recently opened an outstation location near Winchester with further expansion plans in the near future.
On Friday 30 August the company will be throwing open its doors to invited guests to show off the new facilities between 1400 and 1600hrs, and the official opening will be carried out by local television presenter and broadcaster Fred Dinenage and Eastleigh MP Liz Jarvis.
Managing Director of Xelagroup Gareth Blair said “We are extremely proud of our new home and excited to be showing our new facilities to colleagues & clients.”
