In 2019 National Express West Midlands (NXWM) launched 75 new ‘Platinum’ vehicles on its route 50. Now, the company is asking customers to get in touch with their memories of busy route 50, which began operation 75 years ago on 2 October 1949. To celebrate the route, the company is asking locals past and present to share their stories and memories of travelling on the 50 over the past three quarters of a century.
