Reading Buses has launched a new ‘White Knight’-branded bus service to the University of Reading. Named after the university’s campus, the ‘White Knight’ route 20 offers a new, more direct service between the university and town centre, says the operator, and will run up to every 10 minutes during university semesters.

The new service complements enhancements to the other services serving the university, and replaces previous route 21a.

Robert Williams, Reading Buses Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are extremely pleased to be introducing this new service to the university. We have developed the idea of a faster, non-stop term-time route between town and the campus with representatives of the university.”
