Workshop equipment maker Totalkare says is thrilled to announce its recent accolades in the Best Companies 2024 rankings, which recognise the West Midlands firm as a leading UK manufacturer. The company was honoured as the Best Manufacturing Employer in the UK and ranked 30th as Best Mid-Sized Company to Work for in the UK, with its overall ranking elevated to ’Outstanding,’ a step up from the previous ‘Very Good,’ following the success of the company’s recent b-Heard employee engagement survey.

Totalkare also earned the distinction of being ranked as the 20th Best Company of any size to work for in the West Midlands. The b-Heard survey assessed employee engagement across a comprehensive range of factors, aligning results with Best Companies’ eight factors of workplace engagement. Key findings from the survey showed that 93% of employees are happy with their work life balance, 92% of employees feel proud to work for Totalkare and 89% of employees feel the company’s management team actively listens to feedback from the wider business.

Reflecting on the results, Totalkare CEO David Hall commented: “We have always strived to foster a positive culture, and it’s fantastic to see this reflected in our staff feedback and high rankings in Best Companies. Competing alongside some of the largest employers across sectors in the West Midlands, this achievement showcases our commitment to employee well-being and a balanced work-life environment.

“Our engagement rate has grown each quarter, and we’re dedicated to enhancing these benefits even further,” he added.
