Eavesway Travel of Ashton in Makerfield have placed a first-time order for an Irizar Integral i8 for delivery in 2025, the company’s first order with the marque, having previously operated a large fleet of Van Hool coaches. The new coach will be equipped to the highest level of comfort and amenity, and fitted with 38 extra comfort seats in the company’s signature cream leather.
At 14.07m in length, a conversion by AD Coach Systems will be carried out in the UK to further equip the new coach for corporate charter and sports team activity.
It will also feature a digital camera mirror system in place of traditional mirrors.
Managing Director of Eavesway Travel Mikes Eaves said: “We are delighted to confirm the order of the first Irizar vehicle to join the VIP section of our fleet and are 100% confident it will be an exceptional addition. From our first contact with Irizar UK we have been impressed with the welcome, enthusiasm, and belief in the quality of the Irizar product which matches both our own high expectations and those of our clients.”
Stuart Smithson, Area Sales Manager in the North for Irizar UK said: “We are delighted to welcome Mike and the entire Eavesway team to the Irizar family. As a provider of luxury travel services, we are confident that the i8 will dovetail into the Eavesway fleet well and will offer a high level of comfort and design to its passengers.”
