Once famous for its BEA Routemasters and their luggage trailers, Heathrow Airport is a hub for bus and coach services in the surrounding region, and like many similar facilities has become increasingly aware of its environmental and sustainability goals. Among others, that involves increasing the numbers of staff and passengers arriving by bus or coach, and the airport has also begun electrifying its own vehicles, including the delivery of new Yutong E12 electric single-deckers early this year.
