The SOR NS 12 electric produced for the Moravian public transport operator BORS and destined for deployment in the small city Třebíč features the company’s signature front-end with Metro-style curvature, which is used on various rigid and articulated models, regardless of propulsion type. The bodywork was designed by architect Patrik Kotas, who has built countless public transport terminals in the Czech Republic and also created the body styling of Škoda’s tram and Siemens’ metro vehicles in Prague. The body style is also used on the Škoda trolleys now being delivered to the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. ANDREW THOMPSON
