The company says its growth has been driven by its role within a global network of strategic technology partners, where collaboration creates mutual value, and by working with partners such as Optibus, Vix Technology, AWS and others, it has combined its expertise in transport intelligence with innovative solutions to address the localised and diverse challenges of delivering an excellent public transport experience.

“Our partnerships are built on a shared vision to create excellent experiences in public transport,” said CEO Miki Szikszai. “By combining our data-driven solutions with the unique capabilities of our partners, we’re not only driving meaningful improvements for public transport authorities and operators but also creating better journeys for passengers around the globe.”

The cornerstone of Snapper Services’ offering is its Mosaiq Transit Intelligence Suite, launched in early 2023, which it says has been designed to equip transport authorities and operators with historical real-time data and insights to understand and improve network performance and enhance the passenger experience. Recent updates, including features such as its Running Times and Stop Details features, enable customers to analyse route performance with accuracy, supporting data-driven decisions and improvements that benefit their communities.

Chief Revenue Officer Jon Salmon added: “Mosaiq has transformed how transport authorities understand their networks. We now process 3 billion data heartbeats each month and gain insights from approximately 25 million trips, and we’re pleased to see the platform gaining traction each month. This work reflects our commitment to providing genuinely useful insights that can help support bus operators and local authorities to make data-driven decisions. These decisions underpin the delivery of consistent network performance and optimise resources to enhance the overall public transport experience for passengers.”

Over the past 18 months, Snapper Services has also supported major projects such as the West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s move towards a franchised network and introduced initiatives such as the Mosaiq Global Public Transit Index to benchmark transport performance worldwide.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we are inspired to continue driving positive change in public transport systems worldwide,” concluded Miki. “Looking ahead, we remain committed to enabling a culture of continuous improvement of the public transport experience. We expect to leverage modern technology and our deep domain knowledge to create even more impact in existing markets and explore opportunities in new regions. The public transport industry is just at the beginning of its digital transformation journey, and we are excited about what the future holds as we work towards creating excellent public transport experiences that accelerate the journey to a sustainable world.”
