COSTA RICA: South American brand Marcopolo’s small bus brand Volare has expanded its presence in the international market with the export of nine vehicles to operators in Costa Rica. The vehicles, all Fly 9 models, will be used to transport tourists around the country.
“The demand for Volare models has grown abroad, especially in countries in Latin America and Africa. This demonstrates the success of the product due to its robustness, operational efficiency and greater comfort and safety for passengers,” explained Vinicius Rene Tregansin, Volare’s commercial manager for foreign markets.
The nine Fly 9 midibuses were acquired by operator Joke Vision, which has ordered five, plus one each for operators Metrocop, BBM BIS, Rovicsa and Trans Zumo, and have different configurations but will all be delivered in August.
