FRANCE Iveco Bus says it is proud to announce orders for new H2 city buses from the Urban Community of Dunkirk and Grand Annecy Agglomeration. Dunkirk has ordered 10 vehicles, while Grand Annecy has chosen to acquire three, all of which will complement existing fleets of electric buses from the brand on both networks. Deliveries will be during 2025 and 2026.
Giorgio Zino, Head of Iveco Bus Europe Commercial Operations, said: “We are extremely proud that the Urban Community of Dunkirk and Grand Annecy Agglomeration have renewed their trust by adopting our hydrogen buses. These new orders highlight our ability to support our customers in their transition to zero emissions.” Combining a 100kW Hyundai fuel cell with a 69kWh FPT Industrial battery pack, Iveco Bus says its H2 solution is particularly efficient in terms of reducing hydrogen consumption, citing figures 15 to 20% lower than other models, and optimising thermal comfort, while ensuring a long lifespan of key components including the battery and fuel cell, and capacity of up to 110 passengers.
