Nottingham City Transport has agreed a new five year advertising deal with Adverta. Announced as NCT hosted the ALBUM conference in the city, the deal will provide businesses with targeted and tailored advertising using space on the company’s fleet of over 250 vehicles.
Adverta is part of the Halifax-based CP Media group and is headed up by Mike Terry, who is Nottingham born and bred with first-hand knowledge of the city and where businesses can reach the right people. Mike said: “We are humbled that Nottingham City Transport has put its trust and faith in us to once again deliver. It might sound clichéd, but I take great pride in working and selling ads in my own city. I’ve seen the two-way benefit for both NCT and for our businesses. Getting to the right people, in the right way, at the right time is what we are about.”
CEO of CP Media Mike Brennan added: “Mike knows the patch inside out and has a long-term relationship with the award-winning team at Nottingham City Transport. That personal touch for partners and advertisers is what we are all about at CP Media. It’s why we’re growing year-on-year and why we’re relentless in keeping our focus on hyperlocal knowledge – we want people to know and own their space. We thank NCT for its continued trust in us.”
Head of Marketing and Projects at Nottingham City Transport Anthony Carver-Smith added: “This is an important deal because it helps us to keep fares lower than they would be without this vital income. It helps cover costs of our award-winning bus network, which we know is so valuable to so many across Nottingham. Working with Adverta has always felt like a partnership rather than a traditional owner and supplier arrangement, They really get us, they get Nottingham and they get our businesses, who love the exposure our fleet gives them in the right places.”
