The Faversham Festival of Transport attracted visitors from across the county as well as a wide variety of exhibits, reports James Otley

On Saturday 17 May, the Faversham Transport Weekend took place in the centre of the historic and beautiful town of Faversham in Kent, where an array of cars, buses and motorcycles of all ages can be viewed, supported by a variety of craft stalls, food and drink opportunities and live music. Amongst the vehicles giving rides to visitors were first time visitor, London Transport Bristol LHS BS4 GHV 504N, which operated on route 38 to Hernehill and regular attendee East Kent Buses open-top Bristol VR RVB 977S, which proved a popular choice.
