The autonomous e-ATAK will be trialled for six months in Paris. KARSAN

FRANCE Karsan is working with Paris operator RATP to trial an autonomous e-ATAK eight-metre minibus on the 12-kilometre route 393 between Sucy-Bonneuil RER and Thiais-Carrefour de la Résistance from September, in real traffic conditions. Karsan CEO Okan Baş said: “With this new project, we will take Karsan’s leadership in the field of autonomous driving technologies one step further. Karsan’s autonomous e-ATAK will actively provide passenger services for six months following the completion of independent testing and certification tests at the end of August. The fact that a global reference operator such as RATP has chosen the autonomous e-ATAK demonstrates the level of Karsan’s autonomous mobility solutions and the brand’s recognition globally.”
