NORWAY Volvo Buses has received an order for 32 buses from Tide Buss for services in and around Sogn and Sunnhordland in Norway. Four of the vehicles will be B13Rs with bodywork by Carrus Delta, whilst 28 will be built on the B8RLE chassis, with bodywork supplied by Spanish bodybuilder Unvi.

“We are honored and delighted to have been chosen as a supplier to Tide. This further strengthens the long-term partnership we have established and represents an important step in anchoring our business model,” said Svenn Åge Løkken, Sales Director for Volvo Buses in Norway. “We are also very satisfied with our ability to deliver a competitive and sustainable solution together with our European partners. This plays a crucial role in supporting a resilient European bus industry and safeguarding supply chain and preparedness in an increasingly unpredictable global landscape.” The buses are scheduled to enter service on 1 July next year.
