New managing director for King Long

Collin Mathews is the new Managing Director of Kinglong UK Limited with responsibility for selling the King Long bus and coach range in the UK.

“We are delighted with Collin’s appointment as he brings with him a wealth of experience in this sector,” the company says in a statement. “Given the future drive of the industry to lower carbon emissions, King Long has developed a gas powered vehicle to be introduced in the UK later this year.”

Collin says in the statement: “This is a landmark year for King Long as 2015 celebrates 10 years of the King long product being introduced in the UK. In my role as Managing Director, I am delighted to confirm King Long’s attendance at the new coach and bus show, CABS (www.coachandbusshow.com) to be held in conjunction with the PAWRS exhibition in Paignton on 9-11 June, 2015.

“It’s all about continuing the success story and meeting the growth in demand. Xiamen King Long is the biggest supplier in to Europe. King Long can boast an exclusive European production line introduced only last year to meet increased demands with quality control being at the forefront.

“King Long now has an extensive range of coaches from 9m to 14m to offer the market.
