Guests who attended a garden party on June 4 at Buckingham Palace were transported to the event in style by United Motorcoaches, part of RATP Dev London.
16 vehicles collected guests from the gates of the palace and delivered them to Waterloo, Kings Cross and Victoria stations, where Transport for London had arranged for the vehicles to be given special access.
The garden party guests were from Blind Veterans UK, the national charity for blind and visually-impaired ex-servicemen and women. They were attending the event, hosted by HRH The Countess of Wessex, in celebration of the charity’s 100th anniversary.
Richard Hall, Managing Director of RATP Dev London, said: “We were delighted and honoured to provide transportation for the veterans, who have proudly served our country in previous conflicts. We chose our top drivers for the event and the shuttle service went very smoothly.”

The company went above and beyond to ensure our blind and visually -impaired ex-servicemen and women travelled safely and comfortably.
“United Motorcoaches played a vital role in supporting our event, which gave nearly 2,000 of our blind veterans a once-in-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate our charity’s 100th anniversary. It was an incredible day for everyone who attended.”
