A new travel partnership has been established between Transdev and Stephensons of Easingwold, allowing easier connections for passengers using Transdev’s Coastliner service.
The Coastliner service travels between Leeds, York, Malton and the Yorkshire Coast. Anyone with a valid Coastliner return or day ticket to Malton can buy a discount return on connecting Stephensons Monday to Saturday route 181 to Castle Howard for £2.
Visitors arriving at Castle Howard on the connecting Stephensons bus also qualify for discounted admission, whenever the House is open – saving a further £4 off each adult admission and £2.50 off each child admission.
Coastliner General Manager, Cindy Locker, said: “We’re delighted to work in partnership with Stephensons to offer these amazing discounts, which add up to significant savings for families and individual passengers visiting beautiful Castle Howard.
“When teamed with our great value return fares the savings really add up.
“For those connecting into Coastliner from our other bus services in Leeds or York, we have a great value Daytripper Plus ticket, valid any time, any day on all Transdev buses across Yorkshire and Lancashire – including Coastliner – for £15 adult, £10 child, or £31 for a group of up to five adults.”
Stephensons’ connecting route 181 leaves Malton Bus Station for Castle Howard at 1105 and 1335hrs, with the return journey leaving Castle Howard for Malton at 1558hrs. The service operates Monday to Saturday only, with no service between Malton and Castle Howard on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
