Park’s of Hamilton Coaches has made a repeat Mercedes-Benz purchase, placing its first order for two new Tourismo 12m coaches, having taken delivery of four Sprinter Travel 45 minibuses in 2016.
The vehicles will be used mainly on Caledonian Travel tours, providing a range of services including day excursions, weekend breaks and tours throughout the UK and Ireland.
The two new Tourismo coaches can each be configured to seat 51 or 53, specified with Travel Star Eco fabric upholstery, leather headrests, arm and footrests, lateral seat adjustment and fold-out tray tables.
Entertainment on board is provided by dual 19” LCD monitors paired to a Bosch audio/visual system. Both coaches will include full climate control.
Both of the Tourismos are powered by Mercedes-Benz OM 470, 290kW Euro 6 engines, paired with Powershift eight-speed automatic transmissions.
