First Travel Solutions (FTS) supported the Football Association of Wales to provide transport for the 2017 UEFA Champions League final, which took place at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff on Saturday, June 3.
FTS was awarded the travel and transport contract and supported the organisers with a wide and varied range of vehicles. The services operated for the event included rail support services between Bristol and Cardiff, the safe transport of Juventus fans to and from Cardiff Airport and the transport of Real Madrid fans from Bristol and Birmingham Airports.
In addition to this, FTS provided Park & Ride services for staff working at the UEFA Champions League final as well as VIP coaches and transport for the main sponsors, Heineken.
Richard Kirk, Commercial Director for FTS commented ahead of the event: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with the organisers of the UEFA Champions League final to project plan and deliver the transportation needs and requirements for what some might argue is one of the biggest events in the world.
