The longest route in London is the Limited Stop X26 from West Croydon to Heathrow Airport, which transferred to Go-Ahead London operation in April. The route was also converted to double- deck operation, and the specification was for unique high standard vehicles. The first bus – WVL334, a Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini-bodied Volvo B9TL – was dispatched to Hants & Dorest Trim to undergo a full refurbishment, which included removing the rear door, installing luggage racks and fitting USB charging points. KRIS LAKE
