The latest round of London bus tender results has seen gains for Metrobus and Abellio.

Metrobus gained the 51 and R5/10 from Stagecoach Selkent, with both new contracts starting on 8 December 2018. With a Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) of 19, the 51 will use 2011 Euro V double-deckers, while the R5/10 will require a single vehicle, which will be a single-decker of unconfirmed specification.

Abellio West gained the 207, including the N207, from Metroline West. The service has a PVR of 28 and will utilise 16 Euro V double-deckers built in 2012, along with 15 new Euro VI hybrids. The new contact begins on 6 April 2018.

Also renewing on 6 April is the 607, which Metroline West retained. The service has a PVR of 19 and will use new Euro VI hybrid double-deckers.

Stagecoach Selkent retained the 61 (PVR 10, 2013 Euro V double-deckers) and 261 (PVR 13), both of which renew on 1 December 2018. The 261 will utilise three Euro V double-deckers, along with 11 new Euro VI hybrid double-deckers.

All the Euro V vehicles mentioned above are expected to be upgraded to Euro VI emissions standards.
