The Oxford Bus Company has launched a competition it’s calling ‘Brand the Bus’, and is inviting residents to nominate good causes to be branded on a double-decker bus.

The operator is welcoming short videos or PDF presentations on charities or good causes; the winner of the competition will have their logo and messages prominently displayed on a bus operating on the company’s city services.

The 10 entries that are deemed best according to a public vote will be shortlisted and examined by a judging panel.

Prizes will be awarded to the competitors who have, in the panel’s opinion, fulfilled the brief to the highest standard.

The winning organisation will be invited to work with the Oxford Bus Company to design a bus wrap featuring the brand colours, logo and messages of the charity.

Oxford Bus Company Managing Director, Phil Southall, said: “We have already wrapped a bus in Oxford Pride’s colours this year as part of our commitment to embracing diversity which has been a great success.

“We look forward to considering all of the entries and I am sure it will be a tough task selecting a winner from the many fantastic good causes that do such good work across the county.”

The deadline for entries is 2359hrs on 30 November. Further details and all terms and conditions can be found at www.oxfordbus.co.uk/competition/competition-entry.
