London Mayor Sadiq Kahn announced the introduction of the unlimited Hopper ticket upgrade, which allows passengers to make unlimited bus and tram journeys within an hour for the price of a single fare. Accompanying this announcement, weekly fare capping was also confirmed for those who use contactless debit or credit cards to pay for their journeys.
