The very first Enviro200 appeared in 2003, during the Transbus International period of ownership of Dennis and Alexander. The original layout of the Enviro200 had a standard front-entry door and an exit door positioned at the nearside rear of the vehicle. The exhaust system that would normally be located in that position was moved to the offside and mounted in a vertical position. This configuration did not prove successful and under Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) ownership, the second generation Enviro200 was born and entered service from 2007. […]
