During 2018 the world’s largest manufacturer of vehicle wheelchair lifts, BraunAbility, purchased Autoadapt, Martech and in the UK, Unwin. In a move to unify all the groups’ subsidiaries, Autoadapt, Martech and Unwin will now be known as BraunAbility.

A statement on the new braunability.eu website said: “Changing our name to BraunAbility clarifies that we are one as a group. By combining our strengths and focusing on our customers, we strive to keep our role as the leading innovator of accessibility solutions for vehicles.

Ultimately, this will benefit our customers in the form of new products as well as a wider range of products.

“All development and manufacturing will remain in their respective facilities in Sweden, UK, Denmark and US.”

BraunAbility is a wholly owned subsidiary of Patricia Industries, a division of Investor Group.
