London’s Easter rail replacement draws buses from across the city

The Easter weekend regularly sees large rail closures, and this year was no exception.

London had five underground lines that were partially closed for the whole weekend, with a number of mainline termini also affected by major works.

With large closures all across the country, coaches and buses where in short supply. Kris Lake photographed a selection of buses running on the District Line Rail Replacement service, which brought buses from all around London.
