Henley-in-Arden-based Johnsons Coach & Bus Travel has welcomed three new Euro VI Scania Interlink Finesses to its fleet.
The purchase, made in preparation for the introduction of the Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ) in London, includes a pair of 12.8m two-axle vehicles, both 49-seaters. The other Scania is the same model but 14m with 63 seats and a toilet. These accompany a Yutong TC9 37-seater midi-coach which arrived in March.
John Johnson, Commercial Director of Johnsons Coach Travel said: “We now have 18 Euro VI coaches and buses and more investment is already being planned for next year. With ULEZ already in place in London and Clean Air Zones (CAZ) being implemented in other cities very soon, we are well placed to meet the needs of our customers and these new regulations.”
