Horseman Coaches takes the top gong from this year’s UK Coach Award in Blackpool on Thursday, 2 May. James Day reports
The industry was once more out in force for the 2019 UK Coach Awards, held at Viva in Blackpool. The awards ceremony was once again presented by Carol Kirkwood, with Roger Crisp providing narration.
With UK Coach Awards Chairman John Gilbert recovering from knee surgery and thus unable to attend the event, it was Mark Yexley, Chairman of UK Coach Award organising company Transport Events Group, who opened the award presentation.
He said: “I could go on at enormous length about all the uncertainty we have to contend with as an industry. I’m not touching on that to depress everybody, but to make the point that we need evenings like this for two reasons. […]
