Bournemouth-based Yellow Buses has reintroduced its open-top Buster’s Beach Bus after requests from passengers.
The service will run all day between Boscombe and Sandbanks with views of the coast and cliff-top hotels. David Squire, Managing Director of Yellow Buses, said: “If you are planning a trip to the Bournemouth seaside, what better way to see the best bits than on an open top bus?
“Buster’s Beach Bus runs half-hourly through the day and passengers can hop on and hop off.
“Those with English National Concessionary passes can travel free, and families and a group of up to five people can get a day ticket for £15.
“From Bournemouth shops to sandy flip flops on Sandbanks beach, passengers can see the fantastic views of Old Harry Rocks whilst travelling along the coast, and the route serves many of the hotels.
“Bournemouth is a great place to visit for a staycation, and the open top bus is a great way to see the best of what Bournemouth and Poole have to offer.”
Lisa O’Keeffe, Senior Brand and Content Manager at dayoutwiththekids.co.uk, said: “Going to the seaside is a staple part of British childhood, and as the research shows, it’s still a firm favourite for families.
“UK seaside resorts have benefitted hugely from the rise in staycations in recent years, and as the trend continues to grow, it’s really exciting to see all the towns on this list really embracing family visitors and improving their offer.”
