Arriva has announced a further commitment to improving air quality through signing a contract with TomTom Telematics, to drive down pollution.
The new contract will see Arriva install a telematics system on up to 15,000 buses across the UK and an additional nine countries in mainland Europe.
The new technology provides drivers with instant feedback around braking, acceleration and idling, which will ultimately aid Arriva in reducing fuel use by up to 6% and cut CO2 emissions by up to 72,000 each year.
