Metroline once again opened the doors of its Potters Bar garage to the pubic on Saturday (20 July). The site is home to up to 200 buses and, as in past years, the aim was to raise funds for charities such as Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.

Attractions included a display of buses dating back to the 1950s and 1960s through to the present day, including examples of the very latest BYD-ADL and Optare all-electric double-deckers for the operator.

There were also a number of stalls and free bus services operated to local destinations using a variety of vehicles. Kris Lake was there.
