A former Delaine Volvo Olympian bought for preservation from a subsequent operator made a nostalgic trip back to its original depot on the way back from collection.
Volvo Olympian S5 OCT with East Lancs H47/33F bodywork had been running with Sleafordian of Sleaford, Lincs, since March 2014. It has now been bought by a consortium of Eastern Bus Enthusiasts (EBE) members including former Delaine driver Nathan Merryweather. Nathan and co-owners of the bus Stephen Longmire and Scotty Gibson are all currently drivers with North Yorkshire-based Connexions Buses.
