A fine selection of vehicles at Buses Festival

Buses and coaches from large companies and individuals alike came together at the British Motor Museum to celebrate the industry and its history, reports Nick Larkin

Operators picked up awards for their heritage vehicles at this year’s Buses Festival at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire. More than 100 buses and coaches old and new attended the event, and local operator National Express West Midlands provided a superb display of buses from its fleet of active preserved vehicles as well as modern machines in heritage liveries. Among them was 2008 Scania M230UD OmniCity, registration number BU08EHZ, which has just been superbly outshopped in West Midlands PTE livery.
