Madaline Dunn spoke to Meera Rambissoon, Senior Consultant at TAS Partnership, to discuss mental health awareness in the bus industry and find out what is being done to destigmatise mental illness

A campaigner at heart, Meera Rambissoon has been involved in the bus industry for many years. Beginning her work in the industry campaigning to protect rural England, Meera became interested in transport policy, specifically public transport policy. From there, she developed a passion for campaigning for accessible transport for as many people as possible, which also saw her dabble in transport journalism. She now works for TAS Partnership as a Senior Consultant.

“I liaise with stakeholders and survey passengers,” she said. “Ultimately, I try to prove the social value of community transport. But we do everything here.”
