Confederation of Passenger Transport Chief Executive Graham Vidler said: “It is disappointing that the Government has chosen to maintain temporary tariffs on the import of new coaches and buses in the event of a no deal Brexit. This will result in increased costs for operators who want to upgrade their fleets to newer, cleaner models and the Government has missed an opportunity to ensure coach and bus operators can continue to contribute to improving air quality.
