First Worcester launched newly-named vehicles last week on its Salt Road-branded services. This is part of a batch of new initiatives across the Midlands division. Richard Sharman takes a look at the latest news and the upcoming brands that are soon to be hitting the streets in the First Midlands operating area

Whilst First Bus may be for sale, many of its operating companies are forging ahead with their business plans. Work on the sale of the operating companies is going on in the background but the group’s divisions still have customers to get to work or school, so operations must continue to provide services and keep attracting new custom.
